Gluten-Free Travel Blog

Here are 10 Things to LOVE About Picazzo’s:

1.) They’re the New Times “Best of Phoenix” Readers’s Choice Winner for Best Gluten Free Restaurant in 2015 and 2016. Take it from your fellow gluten free diners…this place is awesome!

2.) Their ENTIRE MENU, full of starters (like the Caprese salad with homemade GF focaccia and pesto above), soups, salads, entrees, pizza, and pastas is GLUTEN FREE, with the exception of 2 of their pizza crust options (Organic Original and Organic Whole Grain). But don’t worry…

3.)  Picazzo’s also has gluten free pizza. In fact, they make their own gluten free pizza crusts and cook them in dedicated gluten free stone deck oven! This is the real deal…not some pre-made frozen pizza shell!

4.) They use locally sourced, organic, and non-GMO ingredients whenever possible.

5.) They use certified gluten free, non-GMO pasta. It’s perhaps the best pasta — gluten free or otherwise — you’ve ever had. Check out this Rigatoni Bolognese.

6.) Their meats and cheeses are antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and nitrate/nitrite-free.

7.) They have over 40 new VEGAN and VEGETARIAN menu items. How’s that for choice? Here are the yummy Sesame Ginger Noodles, which can be prepared vegan.

8.) Picazzo’s has “Healthy Hours” each day from 3-6 pm with drink and appetizer specials…a great way to sample some of their amazing and innovative food and drink creations! Don’t miss their handcrafted cocktails, each which sounds better than the next!

9.) They offer 50% savings on bottles of wine on Tuesdays AND Saturdays.

10.) They have daily Lunch Combos where you can select from pizzas, pastas, salads, and soups.

But don’t take it from me…check out their innovative MENU yourself, and you’ll be booking your trip to Arizona soon! Base yourself at one of the gorgeous resorts in the beautiful Phoenix/Scottsdale area, where you can enjoy relaxing by the pool, playing some golf, and dining at the 3 area Picazzo’s restaurants. Then, plan some day trips to Sedona (where there happens to be a Picazzo’s) and even the Grand Canyon, by way of Flagstaff (home to another Picazzo’s location!). If you’ve already been lucky enough to dine at any of their locations, submit a quick review on our Submit Review page. You can learn more about Picazzo’s by visiting their website or checking out their profile on GlutenFreeTravelSite. But be forewarned…you’ll be salivating over all the amazing offerings, including their many gluten free dessert options!
